Mars and Mildred, Dreaming of the Mountains
These 2 characters depict my feeling of the blessings of abundance and my longing for spending time in nature. Mars was the name I gave this ‘over the top’ person on the left, because in drawing a Tarot card for him, Mars came up. I have to find the actual journal writing I did for this pair to recall more, as I did this drawing in perhaps 2001. Always I’m dreaming of the mountains, as I spent a childhood’s weekends with my family in the Wyoming Rockies. And, because I never do spend that longed for, time in nature. Integration/Grail: The abundant Nature of life is best experienced, inspired by – and grounded – by spending time in the beauty of the natural world. It’s an imperataive.
